Sporting organisations are able to conduct training in groups of 10, including the coach. They must arrive ready to train and leave as soon as the session is over.
Thirty senior players turned out for the Crows on Thursday night, with the numbers surprising, but also pleasing first grade coach Daniel Muir.
"It's still a bit frustrating, but I think for a lot of people they were happy to be out of the house," he said.
"I wasn't expecting too many to turn up, but to have those numbers was really good.
"We had three groups of 10, which is the limit for the oval.
"It's a matter of finding out beforehand as best you can who is turning up and what sort of training you can do."

How the Riverina Football League competition may look in 2020 remains up in the air.
Meetings continue to be held between AFL Riverina and clubs from both the RFL and Farrer League about how a season could look and move forward.
There has been chatter of a season start in late June or early July, extending through until October.
Muir said whether or not crowds would be allowed at games would be a major factor in going ahead.
"I'm happy to play whether there are crowds there or not, but is it financially feasible for clubs if they can't have people coming through the gate?" he asked.
"That's a big factor.
"You have to think about people's health and safety as well.
"At the end of the day, football is just a game and everything that has been going on has put that into perspective.
"Obviously everyone is keen to play, but for a lot of people things like their work and keeping their families healthy is their main priority.
"Hopefully there is a decision soon so everyone knows one way or another."
