The Leeton Show is due to be held on October 9 and 10.
While other events in that month won't be going ahead, such as the Barellan Good Old Days weekend, the society has their fingers crossed life will be a little more normal by then.
Leeton Show Society secretary Janne Skewes said the committee would continue to monitor the situation.
"The committee is hoping all restrictions due to COVID-19 will be lifted by October," she said.
"Plans are well underway to provide a successful two-day show once again, with fun for all the family.
"We are pleased to announce Ben Walsh Electrical and Solar have come on board again in 2020 as our major sponsor."
The society recently held its annual general meeting, which was in stark contrast to last year's where there was some concern the event wouldn't go ahead after several key committee positions couldn't be filled.
However, several new faces came on board and now everything is back to running like clockwork.

Anyone wanting to join the committee to assist with planning is welcome to do so.
Young women in the community have also been invited to consider taking part in this year's Leeton Showgirl competition.

The committee is excited to have her on board to assist with planning for this year's event.

The society has also been keeping busy on other fronts, according to Mrs Skewes.
"The Leeton Show Society has been successful in obtaining a federal government grant to build a cola over the existing netball courts," she said.
"This will not only be a great asset to the show society, but will also benefit the Leeton-Whitton Football and Netball Club."
