The annual St Vincent De Paul and Friends of Luro charity golf day has been given the green light to be held at the Leeton course on June 21, which is good news for both the organisations, as well as participants.
To be a COVID-safe event, organisers have decided the day will be a two-person ambrose instead of the usual three-person.

Also, large groups will be avoided by organising timed starts instead of shotgun start.
Ironplan Financial has again come on board as the major sponsor, with players of all abilities encouraged to take part and raise some much-needed funds for the two organisations.
Those wanting to take part do need to book their time to play with Jason Mimmo at the Pro Shop.
Starting times will be between 9.30am and 12.30pm. A barbecue will be provided on the day.
Cost is $25 per person or $50 per team.
