On Monday those funding promises from the state government were made a reality when NSW Parliamentary Secretary and Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke dropped by with all the details.
Council has received close to $850,000 from the state government to complete a range of community projects as part of the Stronger Country Communities initiative.
Of that pool of cash, 146,000 will go towards Leeton and Whitton murals and water tower artworks, $250,000 for the expansion of the Leeton Skate Park and $262,617 for the continued CBD enhancement project.

The Australian Art Deco Festival in Leeton, which will go ahead in 2021, has received $50,000 and $92,545 will go towards the installation of a half-court basketball court in Gossamer Park.
"We have been through significant drought in this area and that does impact on our communities, such as Leeton," Ms Cooke said.
"I know that better than a lot of MPs because my whole electorate of Cootamundra is made up of small communities. In fact, if Leeton were to be in my electorate it would actually be the largest town I have.
"So, I really appreciate the impact drought has. It's really important as a state government we continue to step up and provide funding for really important projects that not just provide employment and investment, but most importantly they provide hope and opportunity."
During her time in Leeton on Monday Ms Cooke met with mayor Paul Maytom, deputy mayor George Weston and general manager Jackie Kruger.
She also took time to visit the areas where some of the projects will take place, including the skate park and Whitton.
