The competition is one of the first to officially take to the field following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
While certain measures will remain in place, United is set to take to the field for the first time this season next weekend.
The season will extend later into the year, with October 26 the planned grand final date.
"We had originally planned to not have a third grade, but we started to get more numbers at training, so in the end it was decided we would have a third grade side," Leeton United president Rod Harrison said.
"This means we do have the four teams this year, which is great news.
"Not having under 16s playing in Griffith, hopefully some of those kids will play in third grade, so they will pick up a game if they want to."
United's sides have been busily preparing for the start of the season, which was pushed back by the coronavirus.
Harrison has been involved in meeting-upon-meeting throughout the pandemic to discuss what a possible season would look like.

He is pleased the competition will be getting underway next weekend and said players were all looking forward to kick off.
"They've been working hard at training, adhering to the restrictions in place and what they need to do," Harrison said.
It is anticipated the majority of Leeton United's home games will be played at the Leeton Town Ovals in 2020.
There is also positive news for the town's junior town soccer competition.
"We are planning on having a junior comp," Harrison said.
"We've just conducted a survey and one of the last tallies was about 85 per cent of participants said they would like some form of junior competition this year.
"That competition will go up to around the under 14s, 15s age group.
"We plan to have a tournament-type competition and have a grand final for all grades."
Coaching development sessions are also expected to be held in the near future, with a special guest travelling to town from interstate to lead the workshops once it is safe to do so.
