The school held a reward day on July 3 for those students who have continued to put their best foot forward.
It was a new way of thinking for students towards the end of term one and the start of term two thanks to COVID-19 restrictions.
This meant students needed to adapt to learning from home, as well as getting used to a new way of doing things when they did return to school.
Yanco Public School principal Tarnya Grigg said the rewards day was also about much more than facing the recent challenges.
"Students who display positive behaviour throughout the school term receive an invitation to attend our end of term reward day," she said.
"The reward day is always a fantastic way to finish the school term on a positive note.
This term fun, fitness and the outdoors was the focus."
The theme for the day was "wheels fun", with students coming to school with their bikes, scooters, roller blades and even the odd skate board or two.
"Term two (was) a very different term for all of us," Ms Grigg said.

"Students and staff alike had been very much looking forward to some fun activities to round off what was been a very challenging, but successful term of learning."
As part of the day students enjoyed a ride along the bike track next to the school followed by round robin activities on the school grounds.
A sausage sizzle lunch and relaxing afternoon rounded out the day.
Students will this week return to the classroom for term three.
