Billed as the match of the round, the game certainly lived up to the hype in the first half.
It was very much tit-for-tat, with Leeton appearing seemingly on top despite going into the main break down 2-1.
United seemed to be settled in the first half, moving the ball well among each other, but just unable to convert on several chances.
The Gardner brothers - Henri and Fred - were making their impact known during their first outing on their new club's home soil.
The vocal home grade at No. 1 Oval was also right behind the team, cheering them on and urging them to go the extra mile.
Leeton were first on the board on Sunday afternoon before Henwood Park were awarded a penalty to score their first of the day.
After the half-time break, Leeton came out of the blocks looking like they were hungry for the win, but the game just wasn't going their way.
