A Griffith man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant has been allegedly caught with a raft of illicit goods on the state's southern border.

The 20-year-old man was stopped at the NSW-Victorian border checkpoint at Moama around 7am on Saturday.
A search of the man allegedly uncovered house-breaking tools, methylamphetamine, three mobile phones and a range of identity documents.

He was taken to Moama police station and charged with a string of offences including possessing a prohibited drug, having suspected stolen goods in his personal custody and possessing housebreaking implements.
The arrest warrant was also executed, police said.
He was refused bail to appear at Wagga Local Court.
