United will travel to Young on the weekend where they will face a Lions side in good form.
Young have picked up two wins from the opening two rounds, including a huge 15-1 thrashing of South Wagga.
Leeton United won their first game of the season before a disappointing 5-2 loss to Henwood Park at No. 1 Oval on Sunday.
Coach Frank Alampi said it was important the side didn't dwell on the loss, but learn from it and move on.
"Last weekend's game was not the result we wanted ... our second half was shocking," he said.
"What we need to do is look at it, put it behind us and work on what we can improve."
For Alampi one big aspect of that is getting the team's defence right.
He said many of Henwood's goals could have been prevented last week if a better defensive strategy had been deployed.
"That's something we need to get right," Alampi said.
"I think if we can do that, we should be fine."
With the road trip looming, Alampi said it was crucial the side turned up ready to play as they search for their second victory of the season.

The club's reserve grade has enjoyed a solid start to the year and go into this weekend undefeated after defeating Wagga United and Henwood Park.
This success may mean some changes are made to the first grade side. Alampi wouldn't be drawn on his selections for first grade, but said it was likely some changes would be made.
"Reserve grade have had a really good start to the year, so if there's players in there that deserve a call up, that's something we will look at," he said.
"We've got decent depth this year, so everyone knows they need to fighting to maintain their spot in first grade every week."
One possible inclusion into the first grade side could be Adam Raso, who came off the bench last weekend after playing reserve grade and was able to score a penalty goal in the second half.
