While most games played were very tight, the Maybon/Everett combine only dropped 17 shots while picking up a mammoth 63 shots themselves.
The 2019 champions, who also won the title in 2016, are a very difficult combination to overcome and their opponents in the semi-final, Gus Laruffa and Ross Reiher, will need to call on every ounce of their cunning and guile if they are a chance of causing an upset.
In the other semi-final, the young guns, Luke Fisher and Brendon Donnelly will take on Tim Barnes and Rohan Dunham.
Barnes is riding high on confidence after his recent singles title and this promises to be an intriguing clash.
