Although the Dianas fell in the first game of the season against CSU Reddies, the group is confident they have what it takes to win the women's competition in 2020.

CSU scored the first three tries including a double to Tess Staines to race out to a 15-0 lead before the Dianas hit back just before halftime with Maggie Feagai getting over.
The home side struck first in the second half after a break away from Emily Wright before Staines scored her third to push CSU's lead back out to 10 points.
Wright scored her second in the match after beating Staines in a footrace to bring the margin back to within five points with five minutes remaining, but CSU was able to put the game to bed with two quick tries to take a 30-15 victory.
Dianas coach Stuart Stout felt there were plenty of positives to take out of the performance.
"I feel like we dominated large parts of the game it was just that they had one try scorer (Tess Staines) who got four tries and that was just something we couldn't complete with that speed," he said.
"You'd like to have a win, but outside of that I think they played really well."
Stout pointed to the performance of a couple of his younger players as those that really stood out.
"Sarah Allen and Emily Wright, both young players, were probably two of the outstanding players on the day probably from both sides," he said.
"They never gave up, always putting their body on the line in defence and were always there in attack.
"With Emily scoring two runaway tries, it showed the pace that she has."
With the performance put in against one of the stronger sides in the competition, Stout said the team was full of belief for what they could achieve this season.
"It seems like a competition that we could actually win," he said.
"The girls have set a goal that if we do get into the finals and we have to play Reddies again it's definitely a team that we can beat."
The Dianas only had one replacement on the weekend, but Stout was hopeful they could have Felicity Allen and Talise Rudd back this weekend clash with Wagga City.
The game will get underway at 3pm on Saturday at Leeton No 1 Oval.
