Heading into this weekend, club president John Hill feels this weekend will give the side a good indication as to where they stand this season.

"Wagga City will be a tough challenge they have been on of the top two sides for the last four or five years," he said. "They have a very strong forward pack. This weekend will give us a great indication as to how we are travelling."

The Phantoms will be using this weekend as an opportunity to bring in another two debutants from last year's under 16s side.

"We will still be giving our younger players coming through to play in the game for as long as they can," he said.

"That is primarily why we are playing second grade. If we were playing first grade, we wouldn't be able to give these kids wouldn't have the opportunities to play because they are under 18s.

"Ben Graham made his debut last week with his old man and had a very strong game playing breakaway. Guys like that show that if you have been well trained in your junior years, you can take the step up into the senior grade with confidence."

The game will get underway at 1.30pm at Leeton No1 Oval.
