The Crows started in commanding fashion with an eight-goal opening term before coming away with 24.9 (153) to 12.10 (82) victory.

The sides traded goals in the second term with the home side holding a 46-point advantage at halftime before blowing the Bulldogs away in the third term with seven goals seeing the advantage grow to 70.

The sides kicked three goals each in the final term to see the Bulldogs restrict the damage, but the Crows were still able to come away with a percentage boosting win.

Crows coach Daniel Muir was pleased with the way his side finished the game especially given for a large part of the game they were playing without a bench.

"We ended up with no bench about halfway through the game and finished with only 16 on the ground," he said.

"It could have been a really big win, but I'm just glad the boys that were left on the ground stuck to the process and played the game out the way we wanted."

The Leeton side lost Jonathan Spina in the first quarter while Bryce O'Garey and Hugh Collins both came off in the second term after picking up knocks.

"Jono (Spina) hurt his hamstring, I think Hugh (Collins) coped a knee in the back at a contest, same with Pup (O'Garey)," he said.

"Tyh had cramp in the groin or hamstring. They should all be fine it was just more a precaution.

"We have a big couple of weeks with games against Wagga and Ganmain. From all reports, they had a close game, so they are going to be red hot."

The most pleasing thing for Muir was the way his side were able to adapt to the adversity.

"I guess it shows the versatility of our squad," he said.

"Guys can go through over positions and provide cover. It was a phenomenal team effort today."

The Crows coach was also happy to see the side starting to gel quicker than he anticipated and being able to make the most of their forward 50 entries.

Jade Hodge had a strong game in the forward line with five-goal while Cooper Sharman kicked four.

Mitchell Hardie, Lucas Meline, Jeromy Lucas and Sam Hopper also had strong games for the Crows.
