Back then competition on a Saturday morning was something that was second nature.
Teams of all age groups flooded the courts for the junior competition as players looked to build on their skills and enjoy some fun sportsmanship in the process.
As we know, the 2020 season is a vastly different world.
As a result of restrictions and different requirements as part of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Leeton Netball Association is now looking at holding a Saturday morning competition later in the year.
It is anticipated this competition will run from October 17 to December 12.
This will also depend on numbers.
The association said those interested in playing should get in touch with them as they start planning for the competition.
