The last diagnoses of COVID-19 for the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) were confirmed when four people tested positive in Wagga on August 2.

The number of reported positive cases for the health district remains at 54, the MLHD said on Thursday morning, and 10 people are still recovering from the virus.

As well as the family in Wagga, there are three active cases in the Albury local government area and one each in the Cootamundra-Gundagai, Junee and Snowy Valleys councils.

More than 41,000 tests have been carried out in the health district to date.

Anyone who feels unwell should seek a test, which can be arranged by calling the Murrumbidgee COVID-19 hotline on 1800 831 099 to make an appointment.

Mobile testing will visit the Urana and Jerilderie on Friday before setting up at Lake Cargelligo on the weekend.

Testing will be done at the Lake Cargelligo MPS between 1pm and 4pm.

A pop-up clinic will also be established in Murrin Bridge on Monday.

Appointments are available by calling the Murrumbidgee COVID-19 Hotline, and walk-up are also welcome.
