A TRACTOR, no licence and a run in with the law was never going to end well for a Riverina woman.
The woman has been charged after she allegedly stole a tractor worth $70,000 on August 12.
Police said the 2015 Kubota tractor was taken from a property on Irrigation Way at Narrandera between 2pm and 3.30pm on August 12.
Officers from the Murrumbidgee Police District were tasked with investigating the matter and were able to move quickly following their inquiries, arresting the 28-year-old woman in Leeton on Acacia Avenue on August 13.
She was taken to Leeton police station where she was charged with driving a motor vehicle during a disqualification period, taking and driving conveyance without consent of the owner and using an unregistered registrable Class B motor vehicle on the road.
The woman was granted conditional bail to appear in Leeton Local Court on October 13.
