Rather, these lovely women and men will tell you all they wanted to do was get to know their community better, meet new people and, of course, raise some much-needed funds for groups and organisations within Leeton shire.
This year's Ambassador Quest entrants managed to raise a staggering $72,000 as a result of their fundraising efforts.
Each entrant - Liz Munn, Belinda Mahalm, Tamara Bartram, Vicki Hester and Bianca Iannelli - each put their hearts and many hours of hard work into doing so.
Now comes the good part.
Each ambassador's charity and committee has already received a portion of what was raised, with the remainder now open for Leeton shire's community groups, charities and sporting groups to apply for.
That means there is a whopping $35,800 up-for-grabs to be shared around the successful applicants.
These groups must fill out a form when applying for the funds stating what they would like to use the funding for, how much their project is expected to cost and give some general comments and background to support their cause.
With this year's ambassadors and winners unable to be celebrated in person by the community due to COVID-19 restrictions, the SunRice Festival committee said it was important to recognise their mammoth efforts because the community will still benefit from this.
Submissions for the funding close on September 4, with the successful applicants notified on September 25 via email.

The festival committee will also be holding its annual general meeting on September 16 from 7pm at the Leeton Soldiers Club.
If COVID-19 regulations change in the meantime, the meeting may be held via video conference.
The committee said it would welcome any new faces and their ideas at the meeting.
