Griffith police are investigating a stabbing in the city's south-west.

At 2.30am on Friday, September 11, police were called to Sams Place to reports of a man who had been stabbed.
Unfortunately the man could not be revived by emergency services and the man has died at the scene.
While the man has not yet been identified by police, he is believed to be aged in his 20s.
Officers from Murrumbidgee Police District have declared a crime scene and have started an investigation.
District Commander Superintendent Craig Ireland said detectives were pursuing a number of leads.
"We're treating the death as suspicious and investigators are on the scene," Superintendent Ireland said.
Forensic investigators have been called in and Griffith State Emergency Services volunteers are assisting police with a search of the area.
