However, with the launch of a new collection of graphic novels, the shire's library is hoping it can do just that.
The new graphic novel collection features over 300 titles and includes contemporary and classic titles.
The collection includes a range of graphic novels, including popular Marvel titles such as Captain America, and Spiderman, as well as manga titles such as InuYasha, Naruto, and Death Note.
Other best-selling titles include Riverdale, Stranger Things and The Umbrella Academy.
"Graphic novels are an exciting form of storytelling," Leeton library manager Terry O'Keefe said.
"Through the use of graphical elements such as panels, frames, and speech/thought balloons, readers become actively engaged in the characters and story construction.
"They are important tools for cognitive learning and are rich in visual literacy."
