LEETON-WHITTON'S under 13s team have been one of the sides to beat for many years, even as players move up into higher age brackets.
This remains the case in 2020 ahead of this weekend's grand finals.
Leeton-Whitton's under 13s blue netball team have qualified the club's fourth grand final in five years in the grade after a strong 49-11 victory over Griffith Red in Sunday's semi-final.
The Crows, like their under 11s counterparts, will face Barellan in the grand final match at the Narrandera Sportsground as they seek to claim the club's first under 13s premiership since 2018.
Coach Travis Irvin said he was proud of the achievements of his team so far this season.
"Win, lose or draw on the weekend, our girls have played some fantastic netball this year and have represented our club with distinction,: Irvin said.
"They are a close-knit group and really support each other, which is all you can ask as a coach."
The side has been commended for their dedications and hardwork throughout the season in what was a different-looking competition in 2020 thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This never give up attitude will hold the under 13s Crows in good stead come the weekend's premiership match up.
The club also has their under 11s netball side lining up in Saturday's grand final, as well as each of their three junior football sides.
Saturday's decider commences at 11.30am with a livestream available via the AFL Riverina Facebook page for supporters who are unable to attend the match due to COVID-19 restrictions on crowd numbers.
