There is still no word yet on whether or not the Scottish Debutante Ball will go ahead, with organisers still working on potential dates and ways to work in with current restrictions that are in place.
Last year was the 60th anniversary of the ball, but in 2020 tradition was thrown out the window when the event, typically held in May, was forced to be postponed amid the pandemic.
Anne Lepper is a committee member who has been organising the ball for many years and said she felt for the young women and men who had been all set to take part.
"We want to let them know we haven't forgotten about them," Mrs Lepper said.
"There's a lot of ideas out there as to how we could go forward with the ball, but we just need to work it all out.
"One of those is having the ball in January before the participants all head off to uni or work.
"That could work, but we just don't know.

"We want to do something because all of the girls who were taking part have their dresses. It would be such a waste to just not have it."
Taking part in a debutante ball is a time-honoured tradition among young men and women in Leeton shire.
While the concept may not mean exactly what it did when it was first held, it is still an event of sorts where these young men and women present themselves to community.
"If we can hold the event, even in January, we would still be able to hold the 2021 ball in May like usual ... hopefully all of the rules change again soon," Mrs Lepper said.
