Found between Darlington Point and Griffith, and running parallel to North Kooba Road, around $5 million has been allocated to replace the bridge.
Member for Farrer Sussan Ley said the federal government would contributed $2.48 million, which is to be matched by the state government meaning it's expected work will get under way soon.
There's an estimated 4000 movements by traffic over the bridge each day.

Griffith City Council mayor John Dal Broi said there had been a number of fatal accidents at the location in the past.
He said with the Yoogali intersection upgrade works, the traffic using the North Kooba Settlers Road to travel between Leeton, Whitton and Griffith had been growing.
Cr Dal Broi said there were also concerns about the bridge's as more water is delivered through the Benerembah Channel, and how long the bridge would be a suitable crossing for traffic.
