During its annual regional conference last week, Riverina Group president Julie Morrison said an urgent motion will be moved to recognise the "dire" financial problems at the regional-based university.
"The morale at CSU is terrible," Ms Morrison said.
"We care because we think highly of the students and staff there.
"Many of our families have gone through CSU. My husband is an old-boy of the ag college, he and his colleagues are devastated to see what's happening there."

As part of the attempts to address its $80 million loss in revenue and predicted $49.5 million deficit, the university announced in September it was seeking 100 academic staff to apply for 'voluntary separation'.
It follows a similar round of job losses among the administrative staff earlier this year.
The CWA intends to move the motion on Wednesday to begin lobbying state and federal politicians to stop any further bleed.
"We don't want this to have to wait for [the state conference in] Bega next May, we want it to be something that is dealt with now," Ms Morrison said.
"We'd love to see [the job losses] reviewed and ultimately we'd like to see people getting jobs again in the near future."
When contacted by The Daily Advertiser a spokesperson for the university said it had "not been officially notified of the Country Women's Association's motion".
"We appreciate that job losses, even voluntary separations, are a difficult process for those directly affected and for our communities in general, which is why we have gone to great lengths to keep the number of staff affected to a minimum," the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson further said the university would be committed to "listen to concerns" of the community and has undertaken the job losses program "to ensure the university's future and are committed to its processes".
