There's a good reason for it.
Pink Up Leeton is on again throughout October as part of National Breast Cancer Month.
Businesses have been styling their windows in all shades of pink as part of a street competition, while others have been holding their own mini fundraisers.
It's all part of what is known as Pink Up Your Town, an initiative of the McGrath Foundation to raise funds to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses where they're needed most.
MORE NEWS:
Madison Bell is the committee leader for the event in Leeton and said she had been overwhelmed at the participation this year.
"Last year was our first time doing it and we raised around $10,000, which was amazing, I was expecting $1000," she said.
"We're hoping to do the same this year.
"Everyone has gotten right behind it. We've got about 33 businesses registered with the street window competition, but I've noticed others pop up so there's about 40.
"There's a lot of pink around, which is great. It creates that awareness aspect as well."
The big goal for Miss Bell is to raise money for a McGrath nurse to be placed here in Leeton.
"That's the big dream I guess," she said.
"There is one in Griffith who helps patients from Leeton and the area around here, but it would be great to have one here as well."
Many businesses have been holding their own fundraisers in store to contribute to the final tally.
This has included selling pink cupcakes or cookies, one licensed premises has held a trivia night, while others are holding 100 clubs and raffles.
"We did have some bigger events planned for this year, but we haven't been able to have them because of COVID," Miss Bell said.
"Hopefully next year we'll be able to do some of those big ideas.
"It's been really great to see how generous people are being."
