Brobenah Burnouts will return in full force with a "grand final" of sorts on Saturday afternoon after the event was originally cancelled over the Easter long weekend thanks to COVID-19.
Three classes will be held throughout the afternoon, according to organiser Carlo Luisi, who was also one of those instrumental in getting the burnout pad up and running.
"It's the final round of a three-round point series we've been running," Mr Luisi said.
"It's pretty type at the top among all three classes.
MORE NEWS:
"The top class is a combined open event for Pro N/A and Pro Blown. These are cars that compete on the national circuit."
The next tier is open to street-style cars and competitors are usually from the local area, while the final class is for six cylinder, four cylinder and rotary.
Spectators are welcome at Saturday's event, provided they adhere to the COVID-19 protocols in place, such as signing in on arrival.
Mr Luisi was looking forward to a big afternoon on the burnout pad.
"It should be really entertaining for everyone who is watching," he said.
"This was the event we were meant to hold at Easter, so we're glad we've been able to have it now anyway with everything that has happened.
"It gives everyone an event to go to and it's top quality."
All of the burnout action begins at 1pm at the Leeton Motor Sports Club on Brobenah Hall Road, entry is $15. Gates open at 10am.
