Fresh off completing the Higher School Certificate last week, the talented footballer is off to the big smoke to start training with NRL club Wests Tigers with a goal of snapping up a contract in the near future.
Originally tied to the Canterbury Bulldogs having signed a three-year contract with the club at the age of 15, Harry had been scheduled to start trialling with them, but it was right at the time the HSC was starting.
"I was happy to focus on school first, but then what ended up happening was Warren McDonnell, who had recruited me to the Bulldogs was leaving and going to Wests Tigers so he asked if I wanted to trial there instead," Harry said.
So, that is now where Harry has found himself this week. It's been a quick turnaround from school to now moving and chasing his NRL dreams, but it's a challenge Harry said he is looking forward to.
Harry is no stranger to the rugby league field, having followed the pathway to land where he now is today as he guns for a professional sporting career.
He's been chosen in various representative sides over the years and has come right through the ranks of the Leeton Junior Rugby League competition to first grade with the Leeton Greens in recent years.
He lists his sporting hero as his dad, Jody Rudd, saying it would be a privilege to follow in his footsteps.
Jody played for professional rugby league football for Balmain, North Sydney and Illawarra in the Australian Rugby League, NRL and NSW Rugby League.

"I've always looked up to dad and what he's done and he's helped me a lot over the years with my training, so I owe him and also my mum (Tracey Rudd) a lot," Harry said.
"I'm pretty excited for everything, I just want to give it my best shot and hopefully get a contract at the end of the trials.
"It's a really big opportunity." Harry himself has grown up following the Wests Tigers, also listing Melbourne Storm's Cameron Smith as his favourite player.
Harry has also found employment and will next year start studying with the University of Wollongong after gaining early entry to an engineering course.
