The Whitton Malt House was officially opened to the public on Wednesday morning after months of hard work from the owners, tradesmen and women, stakeholders and everyone in between.
Described as an "oasis", the malt house not only boasts a special home for Voyager Malt, but a full suite of accommodation, dining, gift, leisure and function options for all ages.
Kate O'Callaghan, Larry Walsh and Matt Pete from the Whitton Malt House all gave credit to those who had put in the hard yards to make what was once a dream, now come to life.
Already several groups have been the first to test out the site, taste the delicious menu, have a hit of aqua golf and admire the stunning lake and water features on offer.
"Our team is really enthusiastic and committed, we put a lot of planning into everything we do, so it's great to finally open up," Mr Walsh said.
"The whole site is just fantastic. Just having such an amazing venue for everyone to come and enjoy.
"It couldn't have come at a better time. It's very enjoyable to be there."
Work is still ongoing at the malt house, with more accommodation cabins to still arrive, gardening, final touches on an amenities block, roadwork and more.
"It's been an enormous 12 months from a cotton paddock to what is now a functioning wonderland really," Mrs O'Callaghan said.
"We've created a space that caters for everyone.
"The word has already gotten out there about us, but this is for our local residents to come out and use as well.
"We've got this great space that is ideal for catch ups with friends and families, corporate meetings, weddings, christenings and everything in between."
Mr Pete agreed and said he can't wait to welcome friendly faces from all over to share in the malt house experience.
"Everyone has worked hard, but we're really excited to have the doors open," he said.
"We've got a really fantastic team here and we just can't wait to share this with everyone."
The Whitton Malt House is now open from 10am to 5pm every day. Bookings are essential.
