The opening date for the redeveloped Leeton pool has been pushed back until at least late January.
In May, Leeton Shire Council reported the project was on track for a December opening. Council reiterated this message in October.
Council blamed an "unforeseen equipment supply issue resulting from COVID-19, recent inclement weather and some unexpected site conditions" on the delay.
The new pools are now scheduled to be open to the public in late January, but the slide won't be finished until at least March.

While community members may be disappointed, particularly with temperatures this week scheduled to reach 40 degrees, the newly-formed Leeton Yanco Swimming Club's season has been thrown into disarray.
President Sally Hill said the club was disappointed, but understood the redevelopment was a large project and no shortcuts should be taken.
"Our main concern is we are scheduled to hold our annual swimming meet on January 31," she said.
"Then of course the school carnivals all start in early February.
"It will be very disappointing if the pool is not ready for those events.
"We also have a lot of swimmers who will not register until Leeton re-opens due to difficulty travelling to Whitton and the reduced availability of pool sessions."
The club's swimmers are currently utilising the Whitton pool for training sessions, as well as "dry land" training focusing on core strength, cardiovascular fitness and swimming-specific strength for the more serious swimmers three mornings a week.
The club will have a shorter than usual break over Christmas.
Council's director of operations Peter Keane said he understood the community was eager for the work to be completed.
"Council is very pleased with the superb quality of the redevelopment works so far and is working closely with our contractor to deliver an outstanding state-of-the-art facility that we can all enjoy in the New Year and for many years to come," he said.
