The forecast for Saturday is currently 43 degrees, meaning the two A grade matches will be called off and the heat rule enforced for player safety.
However, should the temperature come down, players will be set to take to the field for the return of Twenty20 matches.
The L&D CC Ferrets will be hoping to rebound and record a win against Narrandera with the two sides slated to meet at 12.30pm at Mark Taylor Oval.

Narrandera however will be wanting to make it two wins on the trot after they recorded their first win of the season against Yanco last Saturday.
The second Twenty20 match on Saturday is scheduled for 3.30pm, also at Mark Taylor Oval, between the first-placed LSC Colts and Yanco Cricket Club who are still on the hunt for their first victory of the 2020-21 year.
Teams will know late Friday evening as to whether or not the heat rule will be invoked for Saturday's games.
