The Stags have had a slow start to the new season thanks to interruptions from rain, the heat rule and several lost chances.
Their last match against Narrandera went down to the wire and this is the side they will face again on Saturday.
Yanco have a young side this year and they can be competitive, but there are some issues co-captain Josh Lanham said the team was hoping to address.
"We've been struggling with the bat and giving our wickets away too easily," he said.
"That's what has been letting us down.
"I think if we can dig in a bit more and focus on our batting we will start winning some more games.
"Our fielding and bowling is good, so it's just the other side of things we need to work on."
Saturday's Twenty20 match will be played at Yanco Sportsground and it will provide the Stags with another opportunity to put a win on the board.
Stringing wins together at this time in the season would still allow them to be a real challenger in both formats.
Lanham was hopeful playing at Yanco Sportsground would also give the Stags a bit of an edge over the Carpheads.
"I think it will be a bit of an advantage to play them at home," he said.

"Narrandera are a good side, but I do think we can beat them if we perform well on the day.
"We enjoy playing against Narrandera, they are a fun team."
Enjoying cricket is something Lanham felt had been injected back into the competition this season.
While there are only four sides competing in the A grade fixture, he said that didn't seem to have too much of an impact.
"It's been pretty fun this year, which I think is really good just for getting players along and new people as well," Lanham said.
"There's the fun aspect, but even though there is only four teams, it's still competitive, so it's a good mix of both."
The other A grade match this weekend is also a Twenty20 fixture and will be played between the LSC Colts and L&D CC Ferrets.
