Mr Carn's home has become almost infamous during this time of year, partly because his display of lights is most impressive, but also for the comic features added along the way.
Favourites every year include two separate light displays that show Santa's butt flashing as cars drive by, as well as the stationery Mr Claus who appears to be peeing in Mr Carn's garden.
It's all a bit of fun and something for the whole family to get a kick out of.
"I've been putting up the lights for the better part of about 10 years now I think," Mr Carn said.
"As time has gone on I've steadily added to the collection.
"I started off pretty small.
"It's all good fun. You get a real kick out of the cars driving past and hearing the kids giggling at it all."
An electrician and refrigeration mechanic by trade, Mr Carn said the key to making sure putting lights up each year wasn't a huge hassle was to carefully pack them up every year.
MORE NEWS:
"If you pack everything up right then you're not spending the next year untangling lights for hours," he said.
"Hopefully we get a few people coming past during the month and seeing it all for themselves.
"There's a lot of really good homes near us as well, our neighbours' house looks great too."
