The bureau's latest quarterly report shows the incidence of reported crime rates for categories such as murder, robbery without a weapon, robbery with a firearm, steal from motor vehicle, break and enters and many more.
The category with the highest amount of reported crime was domestic violence.
This is a trend that has been reflected in the numbers for some time, with the same period last year showing almost the exact same figures.
The latest data shows there were 89 reported domestic violence related assaults in Leeton in the 12 months to September 2020, with 90 for the same time period in 2019.
However, for this timeframe last year, it was malicious damage that had the largest number of reported cases, with 130 reports of this investigated by Leeton police.
Domestic violence related assaults is something Leeton police are taking seriously, having this year welcomed a specialised operative in Rachael Sellers for the Murrumbidgee area to help address, educate and prevent this behaviour from occurring.
Malicious damage to property for the 12 months to September 2020 was the second-highest rated category, with 83 matters reported to police.
