Leeton resident and OneSchool Global year 12 student, Tamara Donald, has placed first in the state for financial services in the 2020 HSC, while Yanco Agricultural High School's Lachlan West was the second best performer across the whole state in the primary industries exam.
In what was a challenging year for HSC students, Tamara attributed her institution's innovative approach to education as a key reason she was able to continue her study uninterrupted.
"At OneSchool Global, technology plays a big role in our day-to-day learning," she said.
"We connect with teachers and other students from OneSchool Campuses across NSW for classes each day."
Tamara was also listed on the National Educational Standards Authority (NESA) Distinguished Achievers list, with four band six results.

OneSchool Global NSW regional principal, Patrick McGing, said her achievements were something the school was immeasurably proud of.
"Tamara's first placing in the state is an outstanding achievement and reflection of her commitment throughout the year," said Mr McGing.
Next year, Tamara plans on continuing her learning in parallel with commencing her career as part of her family's Leeton-based business Thermogroup.
"As soon as school finished, I was excited to start a role in customer service in our family business," she said.
"Next year I will also continue studying by initially completing a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping and plan to continue further education alongside my work in the coming years."
For Lachlan, his hard work also paid off with the announcement he had placed second in the state for the primary industries subject.
Yanco Agricultural High School and Leeton High School also had students named distinguished achievers.
Local executive director Dean White commended all Riverina students on completing their HSC in a year that has brought a unique set of challenges.
"There are certainly plenty of reasons to celebrate," Mr White said.
"Parents and teachers can certainly share their pride as they look back on 13 years of schooling and how the students have been rewarded for their efforts.
"These results are sealing students' personal goals and should confidently take them to the next step of further study or employment."
Meanwhile, at St Francis College, year 12 students again received excellent results, with 27 band six scores and over 100 band five scores.
