Here we can start to see the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and how its restrictions and regulations were met in the shire.
In April, Anzac Day was extremely different to usual. No crowds were allowed to attend.
Instead, the Leeton RSL Sub-branch ensured the siren was sounded from the Leeton fire station and a short flag-raising was held as dawn rose across the shire.
The pandemic was a regular on the front page throughout these three months, but it was always negative news.
Businesses such as the Whitton Malt House continued to plow on throughout, meeting restrictions while also ensuring their build on the new enterprise could continue.
Funding was granted throughout the shire as the government sought to make sure communities could make their way through, but events continued to be cancelled.
Member for Murray Helen Dalton and Yanco Agricultural High School's P&C and school captains continued to push the state government for a much-needed upgrade of the girls dorms at the campus and the public sector in Leeton reacted to disappointing news regarding a wage freeze.
