Just to start off with, congratulations to everyone that was nominated for the Australia Day awards last month and well done to all the winners, you all deserve the recognition.
We recently held our 13th pop up shop at Gossamer Park and what an event It was. Yes, it was a pizza day and it was a surprise, so everyone loved it.
It was good to see everyone running around having fun and enjoying themselves immensely.
The new food van, "Buster's Bistro", was on display and was used to hand out pizza to everyone.
Soon all the sign writing will be on the food van, along with our 14-seater bus.
After seeing a little snippet of what it will look like, well, it will be awesome.
IN OTHER NEWS:
This Saturday will be our next pop up shop again at Wattle Hill in Gossamer Park, so all are welcome to come along.
Meanwhile at the Leeton Community Op Shop, there continues to be some tasty meals being served up.
Last week one of the items on the lunch menu was curried cod and rice. Wow. What a winner that was.
In fact, every day the menu changes, so if anyone is looking for a nice hearty meal and good company, between 12 and 2pm, the Leeton Cannery Tea house is the place to be.
At an affordable price people can eat in or takeaway.
The Leeton Cannery Tea House is currently being upgraded thanks to a very wonderful grant from the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal.
If any non-for-profit organization or any event that is coming up that you would like promoted, do not forget the window display at the Leeton Community Op Shop is still available.
Just speak to Brady at the shop and he will be more than pleased to accommodate.
