The match was set to be played last weekend, but due to Leeton have multiple junior representative commitments, it was moved to this weekend, and after consideration, the game was moved to Yanco due to Mark Taylor Oval hosting a one-day clash on Saturday afternoon.
The competition was hard-fought until the final round, with the top two decided on the final day when the Ferrets were able to see off Yanco.
The win from the L&D side saw them finish on top of the Twenty20 table after the Colts fell in their last match to Narrandera.
The Ferrets have struggled for consistency in the shortest form of the competition after starting the season strong, aided by washouts with a four-game undefeated start before only winning two of their last five games in the T20 format.
The Colts were the runaway leaders of the competition, starting with three straight wins with some washouts mixed in before only winning one of their last four games.
In the three meetings between the two sides, the LSC side has taken two victories, one coming with a forfeit from L&D and a washout in the second round of the competition.
RELATED
The Colts side has undergone some change since the start of the season with the loss of a number of their key players who returned to university and has seen their form in recent weeks drop off.
Mark Burns has been a strong feature at the top of the order for the Colts as he sits on top of the table of the runs scoring with 143 runs from his five innings which sees him sitting 44 runs head of L&D's Blake McDonald, who is in second.
Burns has been the best batsmen for the Colts side in recent weeks, and their success will come down to his performance.
The L&D has been strong with the ball, with McDonald, Noah Maybon and Sam Alampi sitting in the top three of the dismissals with the Colts leading wicket-taker, Michael Keech, sitting in 11th overall. The final will get underway at 12.30pm.
