"Flickerfest has been to Griffith Regional Theatre many times before, and is one of the most popular shows of our Season," Margaret Andreazza caretaker co-ordinator at the Griffith Regional Theatre said.
"There's always a great variety of subject matter - some are funny, some are sad, some are animated, and most are surprising.
"This year's line up includes a short film from Leeton-based actor Jake Speer and we have a brand-new state of the art cinema projector, so you really will be seeing the movies in the very highest quality.
"Flickerfest at Griffith Regional Theatre is always a great night out, with complimentary pizza and a glass of wine or soft drink at the interval."

Highlights from the Best of Australian Shorts include the fabulous Roborovski, which won the Yoram Gross Award For Best Australian Animation at Flickerfest 2021 and which sees actors Tilda Cobham-Hervey and Dev Patel step behind the camera in the directors chairs. This animated short about an adorable miniature hamster seeking revenge was penned by acclaimed writer John Collee (Happy Feet).
Matt Vesely's short comedy System Error about a robot who works in a dystopian convenience store, which hits Australian screens following its premiere at Tribeca Film festival alongside This Town Ain't Big Enough For The Both Of Us by D.C Fairhurst who took home the award for Best Editing in an Australian Short Film at Flickerfest 2021.
And the darkly comedic Jump, a story about the importance of human interaction that unfolds in the most unlikely of places, produced by Jake Speer (Home & Away) who grew up in nearby Leeton.
