L&D Ferrets have secured the minor premiership in the LDCA A grade competition following a 75-run victory over Narrandera on Saturday afternoon.

Needing a win if they wanted to secure top spot heading into the final next weekend and after winning the toss and electing to bat.
Tyler O'Connell and Mathew Axtill were able to make a strong start at the top of the order with a 45-run partnership before Jordan Camm was able to pick up the wicket of O'Connell (13).
Axtill (41) pushed towards a fifty but was dismissed by Brodie Perram (1/55), but the Ferrets were able to pick up the scoring from that point.
Over the next 14 overs, Bryce Rogers and Ash Fraser were able to put the Ferrets into a strong position heading into the final 10 overs before Camm (2/26) struck to remove Rogers (47) to see the L&D side sitting on 3/157 after 31 overs.
Fraser kept the score ticking over with a quick-fire 15-run stand with Maclean Crompton before Horrell stuck to remove Crompton (5) and was on a hat-trick when he dismissed Kai Schmetzer (0).

Sam Alampi (1) saw off the hat-trick delivery but fell in Horrell's (3/31), while Fraser (51) fell to Sam Williamson (1/21).
Dylan McKellar (4*) and Carta Jackson (4*) added some late runs as they reached the end of their 40 overs on 7/190.
The Carpheads were able to make a fast start scoring 15 off the first 15 balls before Anthony Craig (5) was dismissed by a caught and bowled by Crompton (1/25).
Camm and Jonathon Doyle were able to keep the scoreboard with a quickfire 45-run partnership off just four overs before Rogers picked up the wickets of Camm (28) and Williamson (0) to be on a hat-trick.
Lawrence saw off the hat-trick ball, but the scoring slowed with 18 runs added over the next seven overs before Fraser (1/48) picked up the wicket of Doyle (39).
Axtill (2/15) was the next to find himself on a hat-trick with the wickets of Tom Butterfield (0) and Horrell (0), but once again, Perram avoided being the third victim.
Perram and Lawrence (29*) were able to get their side past the 100-mark before Perram (9) fell to Rogers (3/23) to see the Carpheads bowled out for 115.
