The home side was right in the contest as they trailed 12-5 at the break, with Shakiah Byrnes getting the try for the Dianas before the Waratahs run away with the game in the second half to take a 44-5 victory.
Coach Stuart Stout felt that the result came from the side not being able to stick to the gameplan set out before the match.
"We that they were going to be a really quick team, and we had the gameplan of wanting to keep it in the forwards because we have a big forward pack, and we just couldn't stick with that," he said.
"In the second half, they just didn't follow the game plan of just keeping it tight in the forwards and working their way up the field.
"There were a few silly passes and turnovers, and the other side was able to capitalise on it."
The Dianas are yet to pick up a win this weekend following a tough draw to start the season, and Stout feels the inconsistency has been hurting his side.
"With us, it is just consistency both at training and the numbers in the team," he said.
"Usually, we have good numbers, but it is rarely the same team each week. We have the core players, but we rely on a few people coming in each week which isn't good for your consistency.
"It's probably one of the reasons we have issues just sticking to a game plan because if people aren't training, then they aren't use to the game plan when they come onto the field.
"When you have reserves go on, and core players come off, then the game plan goes out the window as well."

This weekend will see the side head to Hay, who also are yet to taste victory yet this season, and that will pose its own difficulty with playing numbers looking like they might be an issue.
"We won't be going with a full-strength team with half the team away for various reasons," he said.
"At the moment, we will be lucky to have the bare minimum.
"The game plan will still be the same. Hay is very quick, especially with their outside backs, so we will once again try to keep it tighter in the forwards to deny that ball to them and look to capitalise on going straight up the middle."
Meanwhile, after picking up a win over Waratahs last weekend, the third-grade side will have their second bye in three weeks.
Vereniki Qiodravu opened the scoring before a hat-trick to Mesulame Navakayala set the Phantoms on the path to victory.
Shane Nikoro was able to score a double while a try to Paul Hoffman saw the Leeton side able to walk away with a 43-12 victory.
Having played three games so far this season the, third graders are sitting second behind the Wagga City side, who are the only side to have beaten the Phantoms this season.
The third graders will return to the field on May 22 for a clash with Wagga Ag College at Leeton No 1 Oval.
