The inaugural gala is an initiative of the Leeton Multicultural Support Group and is being funded by the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network Empowering our Communities Program, aiming to promote conversation exploring issues around mental health and resilience.
Ken Dachi, Council's Multicultural Program Coordinator said that everyone in the community was welcome to attend the gala event.
"The LMAG is a communal space and a great venue to celebrate diversity in the community," Mr Dachi said.
"There will be fantastic food, music and a marvelous display of cultural artefacts as well as a chance to talk and meet others in our culturally diverse, supportive and friendly community."

Attendees will be able to watch dance and musical performances throughout the evening by members of the Malay, Filipino, Afghani, Indian and Fijian communities and enjoy traditional Malay and Filipino cuisine.
With approximately 200 migrants living in the Leeton Shire, Mr Dachi said it was an honor and privilege to be a part of the team organising the gala.
"What is especially exciting is that this is the first time community members will be able to have the opportunity to curate a unique event, even more exciting given it is an event celebrating multiculturalism," Mr Dachi said.
An exhibition of cultural artefacts, fashion, sculptures and paintings, as well as photographs that capture personal journeys into life in Australia, will form the backdrop of the exhibit.
Members of Leeton' Malay, Filipino, Kenyan, Afghani, Pakistani, Nepalese, Thai and Japanese communities have also contributed items to be exhibited.
The gala will be held at the Leeton Museum and Gallery (LMAG) from 5pm until 8pm and is free to attend, although prior registration online through Eventbrite is encouraged.
