The Phantoms will face off against the Griffith Blacks in mens third grade while the Dianas will be playing in the women's tens division.

"They're coming off a good win for the men," club president John Hill said.

Hill said with good numbers at training and on game days, the Phantoms were building on their skills and creating combinations for outflanking the opposition.

While the home side is riding a win, Hill said the Blacks wouldn't make it easy for them.

With no first or second grade teams to field, and the first grade side having one loss from four rounds, Griffith is set to provide a serious challenge.

"Griffith will be a true test because they've got a lot of depth," Hill said.

"They're not playing first and second grades so they'll have plenty of men."

But Hill has confidence in both the Phantoms and Dianas and hopes to see a close contest on field.

Meanwhile the Dianas' strong forwards and quick backs are going to come up against some tough competition.

Hill said the Blacks' women's side was would be a test for the Dianas.

"They've got some strong powerful forward runners and quick backs, but so do we," he said.

The men kick off at 1.30pm while the Dianas will start play from 3pm on Saturday.

Entry to the Leeton Number One oval will be $5 on the weekend.

Hill said this would straight to the club's chosen charity, which for this year is the Leeton Community Care Development Inc and Ngumbaay (One) Leeton.

"Funds raised on the day either through the gate or at the canteen will go directly to supporting them," he said.

Hill said the club had been helping out with the LCCD's work had run several football workshops in Wattle Hill for children which have been well received.

"The kids have really appreciated the effort," he said.

Hill said the benefits had been felt by the children involved, the club and the community.

"The more of that community work we can do, the more it benefits our community," he said.
