The breakfast will be held in the Puntoriero room at the MIA Club from 7:30am until 8:30am and will have special guest, Suesann Voss, Manager of Cultural Services at Leeton Shire Council in attendance.
Mrs Voss will give a presentation on effective ways to use social media for business practices and provide some tips and tricks to maximizing audiences, clicks and engagement on social media platforms.
"This particular workshop is aimed at removing any barriers to beginning with social media for non profits and community groups who may feel daunted by the prospect of using social media" Mrs Voss said.
"The workshop will deliver easy to digest information and tips for social media and will be a fun way for participants to learn how to help drive social media for their groups and organisations."
Leeton Connect was formed as a means to ascertain funding for the Leeton community from the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal and the Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation under its Investing in Rural Community Futures program.
The FRRR is currently the only national foundation specifically focused on ensuring the social and economic strength of remote, rural and regional communities.
