McGrath is representing the Leeton and District Bowling Club as the only female player in a 12-person side.
Starting playing when she was only 10, McGrath has played lawn bowls as part of the Western Region Academy of Sport and has represented Country NSW against City NSW.
She has also represented NSW in the under 18s side.
Before undertaking tertiary education at the University of Canberra, McGrath also played and won in many tournaments around the country and was part of the winning Women's Premier League side.
She represented a variety of state under 25 age group teams in which she competed in the Australian national titles.

"After returning home to Leeton and joining the Leeton and District Bowling Club, I represented the club in the lower grades of the Riverina Pennant Competition," McGrath said.
"Now I am the only female in the 12-man side, but it really hasn't been an issue, there has been a lot of fun and plenty of good bowls and I have been accepted really well."
After playing a vital role in her top grade team, the side will now travel to Tumbarumba on June 19 and 20 to play in zone finals as they hope to snag a spot in the upcoming NSW state finals.
"Win, loose or draw at Tumbarumba, I certainly hope to make my mark at Leeton District and Bowling Club and become part of the furniture over the years," McGrath said.
