Leeton are off on one of the longest road trips of the Group 20 competition on Sunday.
Several of their players will be given the chance to overcome niggling injuries in preparation for several big matches in the coming weeks.
However, that doesn't mean the side will be taking the Sharks lightly.
Coach Hayden Philp is still expecting a strong showing from TLU.
"We had a big session on Tuesday at training, definitely blew out some cobwebs after the long weekend off," he said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"It will be good to get this trip out of the road.
"I expect a strong match with TLU.
"At home anyone can win a game, they will give us a hot crack.
"We're definitely going in with an open mind, so we just need to make sure we're playing our best footy."
The Greens have a big couple of weeks coming up, starting with next weekend's huge centenary reunion weekend, which will double as the local derby against Yanco-Wamoon.
This will be followed by a big clash with the Griffith Black and Whites the weekend after on July 4.
"That's why we wanted to give some of the guys that haven't quite overcome some niggling injuries the chance to do so this week," Philp said.
"That's the best thing about our club this year is that we have the depth to be able to do that and to cover them."
The Sharks are struggling in season 2021, currently eighth on the ladder, while the Greens are yet to drop a game.
Philp said the key on Sunday afternoon would be getting away to a solid start and building from there.
He'd like to see his side doing all of the little things right. "We'll work on some combinations and just putting in that full team effort," Philp said.
"I think everyone has been doing their job well, but we can always be improving.
"I just want some more combinations to build and go from there.
This weekend we should be able to try a couple of different things out while we have some of those players out."
