The Leeton Representative Netball Association had two teams compete in the Senior State Titles competition in Sydney earlier this month.
The under 17s blitzed every opponent they came up against to be undefeated and take out the division four state title championship after three days of matches.
The team consisted of Abbey Fedrigo, Abby Horton, Adelaide Meline, Charlee King, Eva Catanzariti, Isabel Fiumara, Lilly Hillier, Molly Gilmour, Shikeea Brown and Sophie Cooper.
Natalie Meline was coach, with Nicole Horton the team's manager.
"The draw was released a week before ... we had only played four of the teams throughout the five representative regional carnivals in the lead up to titles," Meline said.
"I knew we had a very good chance of being in the top five, but with only two top age and eight bottom age players you never know how things will pan out.
"At the end of day one, with winning all our games we were sitting in second due to having a bye round, but knew with our for and against percentages we were on top."
Day two progressed, with five more games played and won. Goulburn and District had a loss in the last round to give Leeton the top spot on points and percentages.
"Day three was by far the hardest, with Leeton having to play two of the top sides," Meline said.
"The battle was on with everyone wanting to knock us off the top of the leaderboard. The girls gave it absolutely everything they had in the last day to hold on to be undefeated and become 2021 State Title holders."
Leeton's under 15s side also competed at the event.
This team had competed in five regional carnivals during the representative season in the lead up to Sydney. Their titles weekend consisted of 14 games.
This team was a young team with only four players from 2019 returning and five new members joining in.
