While that news will be welcomed by shoppers, it does mean the store will be closed from July 13 at 5pm before re-opening on July 28.
Located in the Leeton Plaza, the ALDI store has been one of the many supermarkets to be housed in its current location.
It is one of the longer-serving businesses to take up that space.
Shoppers have been asked to keep these dates in mind in the lead up to the temporary closure.
Some of the changes on the way during the upgrade include better product displays, improved navigation and modern styling.
Many of the improvements have already been implemented at other locations following extensive store trials, including in South and Western Australia.
"While we're delighted to be introducing these innovations, we want our customers to know they won't lead to higher prices," an ALDI Australia spokesman said.
"Low prices are a big deal for ALDI.
"In fact, we refuse to be beaten on price. This is our fundamental point of difference and one we will never give away."
IN OTHER NEWS:
New features of the Leeton store as a result of the revamp will also include redesigned shelving, expanded wooden produce bays, as well as extended energy efficient chillers.
There will also be improved point-of-sale displays and store signage.
ALDI Leeton will continue to be supported by a team of 10 to 15 permanent full and part-time employees.
