The mobile screening clinic pulled up in Leeton last week and is expected to stay on for at least the next month.
The van provides free mammograms to eligible women aged between 50 and 74.
Women from Yanco, Whitton, and Barellan are also encouraged to attend.
BreastScreen NSW designated radiographer Bronwyn Morley said there had been a good take up of appointments so far, but there was always room for more.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"It's really important for women to come and be screened for those age groups ... it's the best way for early detection of breast cancer and to look after yourself," she said.
"Having a mammogram every two years is one of the most important things a woman aged 50 and over can do for her health.
"All of our staff are friendly and helpful, so we are always happy to talk and help ease any anxieties about the process."
In NSW, one in seven women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
According to Mrs Morley, the biggest risk factors for having breast cancer are being a woman and getting older.
"Which is why we really target that above age group," she said.
"One thing we want to note for the women of Leeton is that even if there is no history of breast cancer in your family, it's really important to come for a screen.
"Nine out of 10 women diagnosed don't actually have a family history of breast cancer."

While in Leeton, the van can be located in the Sycamore Street carpark across from the town's library.
