The Lions Club of Leeton is currently putting together its new community telephone directory and is appealing to residents in Leeton shire to check the information in the recent directory supplied by Sensis and advise the club of any corrections to address, landline number and if they would like to have their mobile number listed.
Lions Club of Leeton president Marie Jackson said the community phone book continued to have a place in the shire, urging people to make sure their details were correct.
"In the past we have been advised of incorrect information after the directory had been printed and distributed to the community," she said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"It has been decided to include mobile phone numbers in this directory, but there is no list of these numbers available so we have to rely on the information being provided by the owner of the mobile."
If any residents in the Leeton shire wish to make any alterations to the current directory supplied by Sensis or have their mobile numbers included in the Lions directory they will need to email this information to Lions Club of Leeton on colloslot07@bigpond.com.
Any Leeton shire businesses interested in placing an ad in this directory can also contact the above email address.
The directories are distributed free-of-charge within Leeton shire.
Any profits from sale of advertising in directory are used to support the work of Lions here in Leeton and the numerous Lions foundations that support diabetes research, vision programs, research in childhood cancer and more.
