United hasn't played a match for almost a fortnight following on from another washout round last weekend.
Leeton had been scheduled for a top-of-the-table clash with their old enemy in Hanwood at MIA Sportsground, but all games were called off by Football Wagga due to wet weather.
There is still some rain forecast for the end of this week, but Pascoe Cup coach Frank Alampi is hoping his team can get on the field to put in a solid performance against Wagga United.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Last time the two sides met was in round four, where Leeton picked up a 1-0 victory.
"We did win last time, but it definitely wasn't our best performance," Alampi said.
"Hopefully we can come out this weekend and play better than last time we met.
"Hopefully the boys are keen to get back out there again."
In both of the two washout matches, Leeton United had been scheduled to take on top teams in Hanwood and Henwood Park.
Alampi was hopeful a reasonable solution would be found to solve the washout problems.
He also said Leeton United was all for Football Wagga introducing club days/same-day football in the future to avoid sides being split up.
