The fund held its annual general meeting on Tuesday night following on from a public gathering the week before to discuss the group's future, which appeared to be on shaky ground.
However, a band of residents have joined together to ensure the committee can operate and fundraising can now continue with new gusto.
The new executive is made up of Grace Capaldi as chairman, John Martin and Sue Gavel as vice chairmen, Amy Salmon takes on the position of secretary and Rachel Cody the treasurer.
Bill Barwick has two roles - public office and assistant secretary, with Garry Walker assessment assistant to the treasurer and Frances Tsoukalidis will handle publicity.

The fund had been seemingly in quite a predicament in the lead up to the AGM, with a motion on the books for it to go into recess.
However, with a story new committee taking over, outgoing chairman Megan Martin was confident the organisation would once again be able to fulfill its role of helping Leeton shire residents during times of crisis.
"It is a huge relief to know JumpStart will remain and will be available to help our local community," Mrs Martin said.
"JumpStart has achieved so many great things, but for those involved with the committee, many of us who are also still staying on, it's been a rewarding group to be involved in as well.

The fund has also welcomed several new members, but many hands make light work, so there's no limit on who can and can't join.
The new committee will now work to get the fund back and up and running, fundraising, providing new ideas so it can get back to helping residents at a time in their life when they need it most.
